Bloogle Notebook

Google Notebook, a bloggers best friend.

I have recently got myself a Google Notebook. This is simply a private (or shared, if you choose) page where you can cut and paste anything from the web, and keep it together, like a… erm, notebook. It can be used in a separate window/tab, or as a mini pop-up notebook with the Firefox extension.

I have found it really, really helpful when researching and finding links for blog posts.

If i find something i want to quote or talk about, i can highlight the text or picture, right-click and choose ‘Note this’. It’s then stored, with a weblink of origin attached, in a mini notebook in the right-hand corner of my Firefox browser. I can set-up separate ‘notebooks’ under one account, each for a different blog post, university assignment, or possible purchase! This is helpful if i am building a post over a few days, as i can do it bit by bit, and save all the info i need and where i got it from for another day.

If your a news blogger, i think you’ll find Google Notebook a great assest.
